Don Plunkett 1961

Don, co-founder of CADMAC, is seen here in 1961, adjusting his Wakefield at Chobham Common.

Don was the Crawley Chief Librarian, so as well as stocking the reference room with the Aeromodeller, his contacts with Crawley Council and other dignitaries smoothed the way to a successful start for CADMAC.

The Wakefield is an own-design called the Crake.
